What is La Reserva de La Cala Golf?
La Reserva de La Cala Golf is a new villa development in La Cala Golf Resort, Mijas Costa, surrounded by nature and greenery. You live just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the coast, in the heart of the beautiful Andalusian countryside, yet close to Marbella, Puerto Banús and Málaga airport. This contemporary development comprises 15 detached luxury villas.
The villas
Every villa offers panoramic views of the sea and mountains, complete privacy and high-quality materials. They are laid out over two or three levels and have four or five bedrooms, four or five bathrooms plus a guest WC, an open-plan, fully fitted kitchen with Miele appliances and an additional utility room, covered and open terraces, a private pool, a landscaped Mediterranean garden with automatic irrigation and a carport or integral garage.
The specification includes hot and cold air conditioning, underfloor heating throughout, a lift, floor-to-ceiling double-glazed windows, home automation, a video entry system, solar panels and pre-installation for an EV charging point. You can choose from several models with 350 to 850 m² built, plus 200 to 300 m² of terraces. Extras such as a jacuzzi, sauna, heated pool, outdoor kitchen, wine cellar, gym or home cinema are available at an additional cost. Alongside the off-plan villas, plots with and without a building licence are also available.
Prices and payment in October 2026
As of 26 October 2026, the villas at La Reserva de La Cala Golf are listed with us from €2,595,000 to €5,450,000. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.
You pay €20,000 on reservation, 30% on signing the purchase contract, 65% during construction and the final 5% on completion. The project has a building licence and completion follows around 18 months after the purchase contract is signed. Assigning the contract before completion is permitted.

La Cala Golf Resort is set in the green hinterland of Mijas, with three 18-hole courses, a clubhouse, spa and gym. The sandy beach of Marbella East, with its beach clubs, is about a quarter of an hour's drive away, and Málaga airport around 35 minutes. Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are close by.
Living in Mijas
Mijas is one of the largest municipalities on the Costa del Sol and has three distinct sides. High in the hills sits Mijas Pueblo, a white Andalusian mountain village with narrow streets and views far out to sea. Along the coast stretches Mijas Costa, with La Cala, Riviera del Sol, Calahonda and El Chaparral: long sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and plenty of restaurants. Inland lies Las Lagunas, a lively residential centre with shops, schools and sports facilities, right next to Fuengirola.
Mijas is also a true golfing municipality, home to La Cala Resort, Mijas Golf and Calanova Golf, among others. Málaga airport is around twenty to thirty minutes' drive away, Fuengirola and Marbella are close by, and the A-7 and AP-7 connect you quickly to the whole coast. That is why Mijas is so popular with families who live here all year round, with retirees and with second-home buyers.
