What is Higuerón Hills Collection?

Live above the Mediterranean and feel the calm of the mountains. Higuerón Hills Collection is a boutique development of four independent, contemporary villas in Buenavista, in an elevated position above El Higuerón, in one of the most sought-after areas of the Costa del Sol. Four villas, four stages

Villa Olive is fully furnished and ready to move into. Villa Aurea and villa Sunset Palm are finished and ready for you to furnish to your own taste. Construction of villa Paula starts soon, so you can still have a say in the choices. That means you can choose between moving in straight away or making your villa truly your own.

Each villa has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of them en suite, a kitchen that opens onto the living area, a private pool and garden, a covered terrace, a basement, a storage room and a laundry room, air conditioning for both heating and cooling, double glazing, an alarm system and a garage with room for several cars. The villas sit within a gated setting with an intercom.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the villas at Higuerón Hills Collection are listed with us at €1,750,000 to €1,990,000. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €10,000 on reservation, 30% on signing the purchase contract, 40% during construction and the remaining 30% on completion. For the finished villas, the purchase goes through more quickly.

Buenavista is an established, peaceful residential area, yet everything is close at hand: Higuerón Resort with its sports and wellness facilities, well-known restaurants, Carvajal beach, the Fuengirola promenade, Benalmádena Pueblo, international schools, everyday amenities and excellent road links.

Living in Mijas

Mijas is one of the largest municipalities on the Costa del Sol and has three distinct sides. High in the hills sits Mijas Pueblo, a white Andalusian mountain village with narrow streets and views far out to sea. Along the coast stretches Mijas Costa, with La Cala, Riviera del Sol, Calahonda and El Chaparral: long sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and plenty of restaurants. Inland lies Las Lagunas, a lively residential centre with shops, schools and sports facilities, right next to Fuengirola.

Mijas is also a true golfing municipality, home to La Cala Resort, Mijas Golf and Calanova Golf, among others. Málaga airport is around twenty to thirty minutes' drive away, Fuengirola and Marbella are close by, and the A-7 and AP-7 connect you quickly to the whole coast. Beforehand, we send you the plans, the specification list and a breakdown of the purchase costs, so you arrive well prepared. Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
