What is Buenavista Views?

Buenavista Views is a brand-new development of 32 boutique villas in Buenavista, one of the most sought-after areas of Mijas. The gated and secure community enjoys spectacular, open panoramic views of the sea and the mountains to the north. The villas are ideally located, with all amenities within easy reach.

The villas

The villas have three or four bedrooms, each with a beautiful en suite bathroom, and a jacuzzi on the roof terrace. The open-plan layout creates light, airy spaces, and the stylish modern kitchen opens directly onto the south-facing terraces, where you can enjoy sea views framed by Mediterranean woodland. The villas face south and south-west and are designed to make the most of the views over the Mediterranean.

The finish is of a high standard: large porcelain floor tiles, fully equipped Italian-designed kitchens, underfloor heating, individual climate control in every room and premium finishes throughout. The private terraces of 100 to 300 m² are made for outdoor living, and the roof terrace of more than 25 m² with its jacuzzi is the place to unwind with panoramic sea views. There is a communal pool, a storage room and a laundry room, and the community has 24-hour security.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the villas at Buenavista Views are listed with us from €980,000 to €2,300,000. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €10,000 on reservation, 30% on signing the purchase contract, 10% during construction and the remaining 60% on completion. The project has its building licence; construction starts in the third quarter of 2026 and completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2029. Villa 7 is the show villa.

The location: Buenavista

Buenavista sits in the hills of Mijas, above Fuengirola and El Higuerón. You live in peace and quiet, with sea views and greenery all around, yet you're only a short drive from shopping centres, golf courses, good restaurants and the beach. The A-7 and AP-7 give you easy access to the whole coast and Málaga airport.

Living in Mijas

Mijas is one of the largest municipalities on the Costa del Sol and has three distinct sides. High in the hills sits Mijas Pueblo, a white Andalusian mountain village with narrow streets and views far out to sea. Along the coast stretches Mijas Costa, with La Cala, Riviera del Sol, Calahonda and El Chaparral: long sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and plenty of restaurants. Inland lies Las Lagunas, a lively residential centre with shops, schools and sports facilities, right next to Fuengirola.

Mijas is also a true golfing municipality, home to La Cala Resort, Mijas Golf and Calanova Golf, among others. Málaga airport is around twenty to thirty minutes' drive away, Fuengirola and Marbella are close by, and the A-7 and AP-7 connect you quickly to the whole coast. That is why Mijas is so popular with families who live here all year round, with retirees and with second-home buyers.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
