Villa life in Estepona is mainly east of town, between the A-7 and the sea and on the golf hills above. El Paraíso and Atalaya are established golf areas with spacious villas from several decades, close to Atalaya Colegio Internacional. Benamara, Bel Air and Cancelada lie on or near the beach of the New Golden Mile, with villas within walking distance of the sea and beach clubs. This is where Estepona comes closest to Marbella, both in feel and in price.
West of the centre, you will find townhouses and villas in Valle Romano, with golf and sea views, while urbanisations such as Hacienda del Sol and Diana Park also offer more affordable houses. Here you get more home for your budget, with the town and port close by. The hills behind town also hold country villas and fincas for those who want plenty of land and quiet.
