What is Bastion 11?

Bastion 11 sits in the sought-after Montemar neighbourhood of Torremolinos, in a truly privileged spot. You pay 25% on signing the purchase contract, 20% during construction and the remaining 55% on completion, which can be financed with a mortgage. The project has its building licence, and completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.

The location: Montemar

Montemar is a quiet, sought-after residential area on the western side of Torremolinos, between La Carihuela and Benalmádena. The beach, the promenade, shops, schools and the marina are all close by, and Montemar Alto train station gets you to the airport and Málaga in no time.

Living in Torremolinos

Torremolinos sits right next to Málaga, just a few minutes from the airport. The town has wide beaches, a long promenade that runs all the way to Benalmádena, the old fishing village of La Carihuela with its seafood restaurants, and a lively centre full of shops. The commuter train takes you to the airport in a few minutes and to Málaga city centre in a quarter of an hour.

In recent years Torremolinos has undergone a major transformation, with new residential developments, hotels and an upgraded promenade. Being so close to the airport and the city makes it appealing if you travel a lot, if you want to let your property, or if you want to live by the sea all year round.

New builds in Torremolinos are found both close to the beach, in La Carihuela and Los Álamos, and on the hills of Montemar and El Pinillo with sea views. Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
