What is Grand Villas Collection?

Grand Villas Collection consists of three detached villas with a contemporary design, a small private development of just three homes in the heart of Riviera del Sol. Everything is within easy reach: golf on your doorstep, plus schools, supermarkets, restaurants and beach clubs. Villas 2 and 3 enjoy sea views, while villa 1 looks out over the mountains. Each villa has a private pool, a jacuzzi on the solarium, a lift to every floor and a garage for three cars.

Exceptionally spacious

For this area, the villas are remarkably large: 385 to 475 m² of interior space and 280 to 323 m² of terraces, 690 to almost 800 m² in total, on plots of 570 to 710 m². Five levels connected by a lift give you room to live, entertain, work and enjoy outdoor living all year round.

Living on five levels

At street level you'll find the three-car garage, the pedestrian entrance, the staircase and the private lift. The lower ground floor is a multipurpose space of 32 to 76 m² for a gym, cinema, wine cellar or guest accommodation, with a laundry room, a full bathroom and its own terrace of 65 to 76 m². On the main living floor you'll find the open-plan living and dining room with kitchen of 60 to 65 m², a pantry and a guest WC, a covered veranda of around 25 m², a pergola with barbecue, a garden, the private pool and a cold plunge pool. The bedroom floor holds the en-suite bedrooms and the master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. The 90 to 103 m² solarium has a pergola and a six-person jacuzzi.

The villas have a B energy rating and an aerothermal system for climate control, hot water and underfloor heating, which keeps consumption and bills down, plus home automation.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the Grand Villas Collection villas are listed with us at €1,950,000 to €2,300,000. With a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €10,000 on reservation, then 50% on signing the purchase contract and 50% on turnkey completion. This payment schedule is open to negotiation. Villa 3 will be completed in January 2027, villa 2 in April 2027 and villa 1 in June 2027.

The location: Riviera del Sol

Riviera del Sol is in Mijas Costa, between Calahonda and La Cala. You live right next to the golf course, with schools, supermarkets, restaurants and beach clubs close by. The A-7 takes you quickly to Fuengirola and Marbella, and Málaga airport is about half an hour away.

Living in Mijas

Mijas is one of the largest municipalities on the Costa del Sol and has three distinct sides. High in the hills sits Mijas Pueblo, a white Andalusian mountain village with narrow streets and views far out to sea. Along the coast stretches Mijas Costa, with La Cala, Riviera del Sol, Calahonda and El Chaparral: long sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and plenty of restaurants. Inland lies Las Lagunas, a lively residential centre with shops, schools and sports facilities, right next to Fuengirola.

Mijas is also a true golfing municipality, home to La Cala Resort, Mijas Golf and Calanova Golf, among others. Málaga airport is around twenty to thirty minutes' drive away, Fuengirola and Marbella are close by, and the A-7 and AP-7 connect you quickly to the whole coast. That is why Mijas is so popular with families who live here all year round, with retirees and with second-home buyers.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
