What is MedHills?

MedHills is an exceptional new residential resort in Torreblanca, Fuengirola, with contemporary architecture and sustainable construction. It has everything you need for a comfortable life, so you hardly ever need to leave the resort. It consists of two buildings of four and five storeys, with two and three-bedroom homes, penthouses with large terraces and ground-floor apartments with a private garden. Set between the sea and the mountains, it's the ideal base for discovering the cosmopolitan Costa del Sol.

For families

MedHills is designed for families looking for a balance between everyday life and the quality of life that a place like Fuengirola offers. The homes come with a partly fitted kitchen, pre-installed air conditioning, double glazing, built-in wardrobes, a private terrace, a solarium and a storage room, all with sea views. Within the gated resort you'll find a swimming pool with a children's pool, a gym, a sauna, a games room and landscaped gardens. Parking is in an underground garage, and the building has a lift.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the last remaining homes at MedHills are available through us from €310,000 to €377,900. With a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €6,000 on reservation. Non-residents then pay 30% on signing the purchase contract and 70% on completion at the deed; for residents this is 20% and 80%. The homes are ready to move into.

The location: Torreblanca

Torreblanca lies on the eastern side of Fuengirola, in the hills above the beach. The area has its own train station with a direct connection to Málaga and the airport, and it's close to shops, schools, the marina and the beach.

Living in Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a compact, lively coastal town between Mijas and Benalmádena, with around eight kilometres of beach and a long seafront promenade. Everything is close at hand: supermarkets, hospitals and clinics, international schools, the marina, Sohail Castle and a weekly market. You can live here all year round without a car, as the commuter train takes you to the airport and Málaga city centre in half an hour.

Fuengirola has a large international population, including a sizeable Scandinavian community, which keeps it lively all year round. Around El Higuerón and Torreblanca you'll find the hills with sea views, while Los Boliches and the town centre keep you within walking distance of the beach. That makes Fuengirola popular with anyone looking for convenience, rental potential and an urban feel.

For buyers, that means a stable market: there is year-round demand for rental properties, and homes close to the beach or the station remain sought after on resale. New builds are relatively scarce in Fuengirola, as the town is largely built up. New developments are therefore often on the outskirts, such as in El Higuerón, Torreblanca and Los Pacos, or are small-scale buildings on a plot that has become available in the centre.

Beforehand, we'll send you the floor plans, the specifications and a breakdown of the purchase costs, so you arrive well prepared. Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
