What is Almara Villas?

Almara Villas is an exclusive development of 12 single-family homes in Torreblanca, Fuengirola, a lively and appealing coastal town where the Mediterranean and quality of life go perfectly hand in hand. The neighbourhood sits in a privileged enclave of the Costa del Sol, known for its long beaches, its well-kept promenade and an exceptional climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year.

The homes

The development is being built in two phases. The first phase offers five homes, each set over four floors, with large terraces, landscaped outdoor areas and a private pool. Every home has two or three bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of them en suite, a fully fitted kitchen open to the living area, a covered terrace, a solarium, a storage room and a utility room, plus a covered garage. From the homes you look out over the sea and the mountains. The garden is low-maintenance, and solar water heaters provide hot water.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, we are offering the first-phase homes at Almara Villas from €890,000 to €1,000,000. With a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €10,000 on reservation, 20% on signing the purchase contract, 15% during construction and the remaining 65% on completion. The project has a building licence. Construction starts in the third quarter of 2026, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2028. A mortgage is possible, and you may transfer the purchase contract to another buyer before completion.

The location: Torreblanca

Almara Villas is located in Torreblanca, one of the best-connected spots on the Costa del Sol: a few minutes from the train station, twenty minutes from Málaga international airport and thirty minutes from María Zambrano high-speed rail station. Shops, schools, the beach and Fuengirola town centre are all close by.

Living in Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a compact, lively coastal town between Mijas and Benalmádena, with around eight kilometres of beach and a long seafront promenade. Everything is close at hand: supermarkets, hospitals and clinics, international schools, the marina, Sohail Castle and a weekly market. You can live here all year round without a car, as the commuter train takes you to the airport and Málaga city centre in half an hour.

Fuengirola has a large international population, including a sizeable Scandinavian community, which keeps it lively all year round. Around El Higuerón and Torreblanca you'll find the hills with sea views, while Los Boliches and the town centre keep you within walking distance of the beach. That makes Fuengirola popular with anyone looking for convenience, rental potential and an urban feel.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
