What is Horizon36?

Horizon36 is a boutique residence in a sought-after part of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol. The development comprises 36 contemporary two and three-bedroom homes, designed for comfort, privacy, sustainability and a high-quality Mediterranean lifestyle. You can choose from garden villas with a private garden, apartments with spacious terraces and sky solarium homes with a private roof terrace and panoramic sea views. Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, we are offering the last remaining homes at Horizon36, priced from €599,000 to €985,000. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €15,000 on reservation, 20% on signing the purchase contract, then 10%, with the remaining 70% due on signing the title deed. The homes are ready to move into, and mortgage finance is available.

The location in Fuengirola

Horizon36 sits in a peaceful, natural setting with sea views, yet close to the beaches, shops and restaurants, sports and wellness facilities and the marina of Fuengirola. Málaga Airport and the main road links are within easy reach.

Fuengirola is a compact, lively coastal town between Mijas and Benalmádena, with around eight kilometres of beach and a long seafront promenade. Everything is close at hand: supermarkets, hospitals and clinics, international schools, the marina, Sohail Castle and a weekly market. You can live here all year round without a car, as the commuter train takes you to the airport and Málaga city centre in half an hour.

Fuengirola has a large international population, including a sizeable Scandinavian community, which keeps it lively all year round. Around El Higuerón and Torreblanca you'll find the hills with sea views, while Los Boliches and the town centre keep you within walking distance of the beach. That makes Fuengirola popular with anyone looking for convenience, rental potential and an urban feel.

With a ready-to-move-into home, the purchase goes through faster than with an off-plan project. You view the property as it stands, reserve it, have your lawyer check the paperwork and sign at the notary within a few weeks. You then get the keys straight away. Would you like to see Horizon36? We'll arrange the viewing around your trip, even at short notice. Beforehand, we'll send you the floor plans, the specification list and a breakdown of the purchase costs, so you arrive well prepared. Once you're here, we'll show you not only the property but also the area: the nearest schools and shops, the beach and the golf courses. That way you get an immediate feel for everyday life here.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
