What is Green Mountain?

Green Mountain is a residential complex of 27 apartments with luxury finishes and a contemporary design, in the town of Estepona. The communal areas blend into the greenery of the planted walls, finished in fine materials such as wood and natural stone. The idea is a forest in the middle of town: not only beautiful but also sustainable, as the greenery and materials help to save energy.

The complex is gated with an entryphone and has a communal pool, a gym and a coworking space, so you don't need to leave home for your favourite activities. There is a lift and the building is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

The apartments

The development offers one, two and three-bedroom apartments, all with large terraces, a parking space and a storage room. The ground-floor apartments stand out for their huge terraces and patios with the option of a private pool, while the penthouses boast spectacular solariums with sea or mountain views, a private pool and a bar.

As of 26 October 2026, a ready-to-move-into apartment is available with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of them en suite, 93 m² built and a 104 m² terrace. The kitchen is open-plan to the living area, air conditioning is pre-installed, and you also have an underground parking space and a storage room.

On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

Because the apartment is ready to move into, the purchase moves quickly: after the reservation comes the signing of the deed at the notary, and then you get the keys.

The location in Estepona

Green Mountain is in the town itself, with all amenities just a few minutes' walk away. The old town with its flower-filled white façades, the marina, the beaches, the shops and the schools are all close by. Estepona enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine a year and is often called the new Golden Mile of the Costa del Sol: a place to enjoy the beaches, the culture, the food and the people.

Estepona has become one of the most sought-after places on the Costa del Sol. The old town, with its whitewashed streets full of flowerpots, little squares and tapas bars, has kept its authentic Andalusian character. A long promenade runs along the coast, lined with beaches, beach bars and restaurants, and the marina is lively all year round. Around the town you'll find golf courses, international schools and green hills with sea views.

Marbella and Puerto Banús are about a twenty-minute drive away, Sotogrande and Gibraltar are also within easy reach, and you can get to Málaga airport in about an hour via the AP-7. Would you like to see Green Mountain? We'll arrange the viewing around your trip, even at short notice. Beforehand we'll send you the floor plans, the specification list and a breakdown of the buying costs, so you arrive well prepared. Once you're here, we'll show you not just the property but the neighbourhood too: the nearest schools and shops, the beach and the golf courses. That way you get an immediate feel for everyday life here.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
