What is Marine Hills?

Marine Hills is a luxury residential resort in Selwo, on the New Golden Mile, just a few minutes from Puerto Banús and Estepona. Set on a hillside, the complex gives its homes spectacular sea views, and the beach is only 2 kilometres away. Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the Marine Hills homes in our portfolio range from €464,000 to €1,638,000. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

On reservation you pay €10,000 for an apartment (€20,000 for a penthouse or villa). For the villas, 40% follows on signing the purchase contract and 60% on completion. We're happy to send you the full payment schedule for each phase on request.

The location: the New Golden Mile

The New Golden Mile is the stretch of coast between San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona, taking in areas such as Cancelada, Atalaya, Selwo and El Paraíso. Here you'll find wide beaches, beach clubs, golf courses such as El Campanario, Atalaya and El Paraíso, and international schools. Puerto Banús is about ten minutes away, and so is Estepona. The area is developing fast and is popular with families and international buyers looking for peace and space close to Marbella.

Selwo

Selwo lies on the eastern side of Estepona, just above the coast, next to the wildlife park of the same name. It's a green, hilly area with plenty of new developments making the most of the sea views. Supermarkets, schools and restaurants are close by, and the A-7 and AP-7 get you quickly to Estepona, Puerto Banús or Marbella.

Why Estepona?

Estepona has become one of the most sought-after places on the Costa del Sol. The old town, with its whitewashed streets full of flowerpots, little squares and tapas bars, has kept its authentic Andalusian character. A long promenade runs along the coast, lined with beaches, beach bars and restaurants, and the marina is lively all year round. Around the town you'll find golf courses, international schools and green hills with sea views.

Marbella and Puerto Banús are about a twenty-minute drive away, Sotogrande and Gibraltar are also within easy reach, and you can get to Málaga airport in about an hour via the AP-7. Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline. We carry out these legal check together with an independent lawyer, and we guide you from the first viewing right through to the handover of the keys, in your own language.
