What is Edificio Perseo?

Living in the centre of Fuengirola

Living in the centre of Fuengirola, you have everything within walking distance: the promenade and the beach, squares lined with terraces, the market hall, supermarkets, pharmacies, schools and the train station. The local commuter train takes you to the airport in about twenty minutes and to the centre of Málaga in half an hour, so you don't need a car. That makes a new apartment in the town centre an appealing choice as a year-round home, as a second home you can easily lock up and leave, and as a rental investment.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, the apartments at Edificio Perseo are listed with us from €366,700 to €403,900. On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €10,000 on reservation, 20% on signing the purchase contract, 20% during construction and the remaining 60% on completion. The project has a building licence: construction began in the third quarter of 2025 and completion is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.

Living in Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a compact, lively coastal town between Mijas and Benalmádena, with around eight kilometres of beach and a long seafront promenade. Everything is close at hand: supermarkets, hospitals and clinics, international schools, the marina, Sohail Castle and a weekly market. You can live here all year round without a car, as the commuter train takes you to the airport and Málaga city centre in half an hour.

Fuengirola has a large international population, including a sizeable Scandinavian community, which keeps it lively all year round. Around El Higuerón and Torreblanca you'll find the hills with sea views, while Los Boliches and the town centre keep you within walking distance of the beach. That makes Fuengirola popular with anyone looking for convenience, rental potential and an urban feel.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
