What is The Privilege?

The Privilege is an exceptional villa in a commanding position in Monte Mayor, one of the most exclusive gated estates in Benahavís. The estate has round-the-clock security and is surrounded by more than 300 hectares of protected nature. The villa enjoys sweeping panoramic views across the Monte Mayor valley and the mountains, complete privacy and a remarkable sense of tranquillity.

The villa has been designed to blend naturally into the landscape. Its contemporary architecture, generous volumes, natural materials and large expanses of glass create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors.

Layout and architecture

The heart of the home is a spectacular open-plan space with six-metre ceilings, where the living room, dining area and kitchen come together in a single space that opens onto the valley. A panoramic glass lift connects all three floors. Villa A4 has five bedrooms and six bathrooms, with 835 m² built, of which 710 m² is interior, on a 2,750 m² plot. Underfloor heating, an open fireplace and air conditioning keep you comfortable in every season.

Outdoor living

The outdoor spaces are one of the villa's great strengths. A spectacular infinity pool, overflowing on three sides, seems to melt into the landscape, complemented by elegant terraces and lounge areas. Indoors there is also a heated pool, so you can swim all year round, even on cooler winter days.

Price and payment in October 2026

We currently have no homes at The Privilege in our listings; ask us for the latest price list and availability. When you buy a new build, you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

The payment schedule on the sales sheet is: €43,500 on reservation, 26% on signing the purchase contract and 74% on completion. We can send you the completion date on request.

The location: Monte Mayor

Monte Mayor is a gated villa estate of more than 300 hectares in the hills of Benahavís, a large part of which remains green. There is a single entrance and exit, guarded day and night. The estate lies about 7 kilometres from the coast and 2 kilometres from the village of Benahavís. You can reach the beach in around fifteen minutes, Estepona too, and the centre of Marbella in about twenty minutes.

Golfers are well catered for here: Marbella Club Golf Resort lies right next to Monte Mayor, and the courses at Villa Padierna, La Quinta and Los Arqueros are a short drive away. Why Benahavís?

Benahavís is the municipality in the hills behind Marbella and Estepona, with a small white village known for its restaurants. Its territory stretches from the coast deep into the mountains and includes some of the most exclusive residential areas in Spain, such as La Zagaleta, Monte Mayor and La Quinta. Benahavís is also a true golfing municipality, with a string of renowned golf courses just a short distance from one another.

Living in Benahavís, you combine peace and quiet, nature and views with being close to the coast. Puerto Banús, San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona are a short drive away, Marbella is about twenty minutes and Málaga airport about 50 minutes. You'll find international schools in Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona.

Enjoy it all year round

The Costa del Sol has one of the mildest climates in Europe, with plenty of sunshine and gentle winters. In summer, life is lived outdoors, around the pool and on the terraces. How a viewing works

Would you like to see The Privilege? We plan the viewing around your trip, even at short notice. Beforehand, we send you the plans, the specification list and a breakdown of the purchase costs, so you arrive well prepared. Once you're here, we show you not only the home but also the area: the nearest schools and shops, the beach and the golf courses. That way, you get an immediate feel for everyday life here.

Would you rather meet remotely first? Then we'll set up a video call and go through the plans together. You only decide once you know everything, and we can guide you in Dutch, English, French or Spanish.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline. We carry out these legal check together with an independent lawyer, and we guide you from the first viewing right through to the handover of the keys, in your own language.
