What is El Bosque?

El Bosque is a private collection of villas in La Reserva de Alcuzcuz, a prestigious gated community in Benahavís. The community sits in a peaceful, natural setting between forest and sea, just a few minutes from Marbella and Puerto Banús. Each villa has been designed in dialogue with the landscape: large glazed openings bring the forest indoors, while generous outdoor spaces make the garden an extension of the home.

Villa Forest Edge

Villa Forest Edge sits where the forest opens out onto the landscape, on a gentle south-facing slope. The villa is laid out over three levels on a 3,082 m² plot. On the main floor, a spacious living, dining and kitchen area opens onto four terraces and two covered verandas. The main kitchen comes with a separate scullery and two pantries, and two en-suite bedrooms are discreetly located on this level. The 75 m² swimming pool is a tranquil extension of the architecture, with a plant room beneath it and a changing room alongside. Upstairs you'll find the master suite, two further suites and a living area with a covered veranda and panoramic views of the landscape and the sea.

Villa Forest Bay

Villa Forest Bay offers 999 m² built and no less than 400 m² of terraces, on a 3,082 m² plot. Here too you'll find six bedrooms, a lift and a spacious living floor that opens onto the garden and swimming pool.

Villa Stonehaven

Villa Stonehaven is the largest of the three, laid out over three levels on a 3,453 m² plot, surrounded by mature greenery and enjoying panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area flows out onto terraces, verandas and a pergola lounge overlooking a 130 m² swimming pool with a 25-metre infinity edge. The main kitchen is complemented by a scullery, a cold room and a pantry. Upstairs, the master suite has a spacious dressing room, a bathroom and direct access to raised verandas with views over the trees and the sea. The lower floor is devoted to wellbeing and relaxation, with features including a gym, a sauna and a games room.

Prices and payment in October 2026

We currently have no homes at El Bosque in our listings, but do ask us for the latest price list and availability. With a new build, you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and lawyer's fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

The payment schedule on the sales sheet is: €50,000 on reservation, 50% on signing the purchase contract, 20% during construction and 30% on completion. We'll send you the completion date on request.

The location: La Reserva de Alcuzcuz

La Reserva de Alcuzcuz lies in the southern part of Benahavís, in green, rolling countryside with woodland and meadows. It is a gated community with low building density, large plots and plenty of privacy. Even so, you're just minutes from Marbella, Puerto Banús or San Pedro, and the Benahavís golf courses are all around you.

Why Benahavís?

Benahavís is the municipality in the hills behind Marbella and Estepona, with a small white village known for its restaurants. Its territory stretches from the coast deep into the mountains and includes some of the most exclusive residential areas in Spain, such as La Zagaleta, Monte Mayor and La Quinta. Benahavís is also a true golfing municipality, with a string of renowned golf courses just a short distance from one another.

Living in Benahavís, you combine peace and quiet, nature and views with being close to the coast. Puerto Banús, San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona are a short drive away, Marbella is about twenty minutes and Málaga airport about 50 minutes. You'll find international schools in Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona.

How a viewing works

Would you like to see El Bosque? We'll plan the viewing around your trip, even at short notice. Beforehand, we'll send you the plans, the specification list and a breakdown of the purchase costs, so you arrive well prepared. On site, we'll show you not only the property but also the neighbourhood: the nearest schools and shops, the beach and the golf courses. That way, you get an immediate feel for everyday life here.

Would you rather meet remotely first? Then we'll set up a video call and go through the plans together. You only decide once you know everything, and we can guide you in Dutch, English, French or Spanish.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline. We carry out these legal check together with an independent lawyer, and we guide you from the first viewing right through to the handover of the keys, in your own language.
