Benahavís lies about 7 km inland, but most of its apartments are in the south of the municipality, just above Nueva Andalucía and San Pedro. You live in developments with gardens and pools, often looking over the golf courses to the sea. The municipality has eleven golf courses, so for golfers it is an obvious choice. The village itself, with its restaurants along the river, adds a genuinely Andalusian backdrop.

The best-known areas are La Quinta, with its 27-hole golf course and coastal views, and Los Arqueros, quieter and slightly more affordable. La Alquería, Los Almendros and La Heredia also offer apartments and penthouses in green surroundings, while the village itself has smaller homes in a Spanish style.

Benahavís mainly attracts buyers who want peace and nature while staying within easy reach of Marbella. Many owners combine their own stays with letting to golfers in spring and autumn.

Idealista recorded an average asking price of €5,602 per m² in Benahavís in September 2026, up 6.5% on a year earlier. La Quinta stood at €6,167. On average €500,000 buys around 90 m², for example in Los Arqueros, La Quinta or the village. New builds are plentiful here, with modern complexes and large terraces, while resale apartments often offer more space for the same price.

A car is essential here: the beaches of San Pedro or Guadalmina are about 7 km away and shops are not always within walking distance. Check the community fees (golf developments with extensive gardens can be higher), the gradient of the access road and whether short lets are allowed in the community.
