What is Alba Benalmádena?

Alba Benalmádena enjoys a privileged setting in Torremuelle, an area known for its closeness to nature and the sea and its breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The gated development sits in an idyllic natural setting, surrounded by extensive green spaces, where you can unwind in your new home.

The apartments

The development comprises 44 two- and three-bedroom apartments. Each home comes with two parking spaces and a storage room. All homes have large terraces with sea views and face south-east or south-west. They feature hot and cold air conditioning, underfloor heating in the bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, built-in wardrobes, an en suite bathroom in the main bedroom and double glazing. The development has two communal swimming pools surrounded by gardens, a gym and a lift.

The semi-detached homes

There are also four exclusive semi-detached homes on plots of at least 175 m², each with a private pool, a solarium and a finished basement with its own bathroom and laundry room.

Prices and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, homes at Alba Benalmádena are listed with us at €648,000 (apartment) and €998,000 (semi-detached home). On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

You pay €6,600 on reservation, 30% on signing the purchase contract and the remaining 70% on completion, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The development has a building licence, and the purchase contract can be assigned before completion.

The location: Torremuelle

Torremuelle lies on the western side of Benalmádena Costa, between the sea and the green hillsides, right next to Fuengirola. The area is known for being close to both nature and the sea, and for its panoramic views over the Mediterranean. Supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants are just around the corner, Torremuelle train station takes you to the airport and Málaga, and the N-340 is only a few minutes away.

Living in Benalmádena

Benalmádena lies between Torremolinos and Fuengirola and is made up of three parts: the white village of Benalmádena Pueblo on the hillside, Arroyo de la Miel, a lively residential hub, and Benalmádena Costa along the seafront, home to the well-known Puerto Marina. Many homes are set on the slopes and so enjoy sea views.

Málaga airport is about a quarter of an hour's drive away, and the local commuter train stops at Arroyo de la Miel and Torremuelle. You'll find beaches, the Torrequebrada golf course, the cable car up to Calamorro and all everyday amenities. Benalmádena appeals to families, second-home buyers and investors alike.

New builds in Benalmádena are often set on the slopes above the coast, in areas such as Torremuelle, Torrequebrada, La Capellanía and around Reserva del Higuerón. Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
