What is Villa Can Cayú?

Villa Can Cayú is an existing Andalusian villa in Marbesa that is being completely transformed into a new, contemporary home. Set on a slightly elevated plot beside a leafy park, it combines privacy, greenery and a calm, natural atmosphere with the convenience of living close to the beach. Completion is planned for summer 2027.

The project goes far beyond a simple refurbishment. The living spaces are being extended, a completely new first floor is being added and the layout is becoming more open, more connected and more natural to live in. While the architecture and flow are being entirely redesigned, the warmth and character that have always made the villa so special are being preserved.

The layout

The villa will have four generous bedrooms, including a spectacular master suite that takes up the entire first floor. This suite is a private world within the home, with a lounge area, views over the greenery, a spacious bathroom and an outdoor shower terrace among the plants, inspired by the feel of a boutique resort. Under the roof there will be an extra room you can set up as a fifth bedroom, office, gym, playroom or studio, depending on your lifestyle.

Large palm trees, a mature garden, integrated terraces and a private pool complete the outdoor living. Underfloor heating and air conditioning keep you comfortable in every season, and the villa will be handed over partly furnished. There is parking for several cars on the private grounds.

Price and payment in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, Villa Can Cayú is listed with us at €3,495,000, with 400 m² built on a 950 m² plot. The payment schedule is €15,000 on reservation, 30% on signing the purchase contract, 50% during construction and 20% on completion. The location: Marbesa

Marbesa is a peaceful seaside villa neighbourhood on the eastern side of Marbella, between Elviria and Cabopino. The area is known for its wide sandy beaches, its beach clubs and its green, residential feel. From Villa Can Cayú you can walk to the beach in five minutes. You'll find shops, restaurants and schools in Elviria, and the golf courses of Santa Clara, Río Real and Cabopino are just a short drive away.

Marbella town centre is around fifteen minutes away, and Málaga airport is roughly half an hour's drive. That makes Marbesa popular with people who travel back and forth often, and with families who want to live by the sea all year round.

Buying during the renovation: how it works

With a villa that is being renovated, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay in stages while the works are under way. Always have the licences, the schedule and the guarantees on your deposits checked.
