What is Cabopino Gardens?

Cabopino Gardens is a boutique villa development in Cabopino, the leafy coastal area on the eastern side of the Marbella municipality. The villas sit golf frontline on the Cabopino golf course, on gently sloping land. This gives every villa open views across the fairways to the Mediterranean, Cabopino marina and, on a clear day, as far as North Africa. The development is set just back from the busy coast, so it feels quiet and private.

The villas are designed, developed and built by a Belgian construction company that has been active on the Costa del Sol for more than fifteen years. For buyers from Belgium and the Netherlands that is reassuring: you speak the same language, right down to the finishes and details. The development is regarded as one of their flagship projects.

Architecture and finishes

The villas feature contemporary architecture, with large expanses of glass and open-plan living spaces that draw in the light and the views. The layouts are generously proportioned, with four or five bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, spacious living rooms and a fully equipped designer kitchen. Outside, a heated infinity pool awaits in landscaped gardens, with covered and open terraces where you can soak up the sun and the views.

The level of comfort is high: a lift serving every floor, underfloor heating, an open fireplace, air conditioning for heating and cooling, home automation, electric shutters, an alarm system and fibre optic internet. Solar panels and a solar water heater help to keep energy consumption down. Every villa has a basement level with storage and a garage.

The villas in October 2026

As of 26 October 2026, we have four villas at Cabopino Gardens on offer. Villa 2 has 580 m² built, 255 m² of terraces and a 1,117 m² plot, priced at €4,250,000. Villa 11 offers 734 m² built on a 1,152 m² plot, priced at €4,550,000. Villa 12 has 801 m² built on a 1,150 m² plot, priced at €5,750,000. The largest, Villa 8, has 910 m² built on a 1,415 m² plot, priced at €5,995,000. All the villas have five bedrooms.

Asking prices therefore range from €4.25 million to €5,995 million. As these are new builds, you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.

The location: Cabopino

Cabopino lies on the eastern side of Marbella, between Elviria and Calahonda. It is one of the greenest stretches of coastline in the municipality, with pine forests, the golf course and the protected Artola dunes. Cabopino beach, with its soft sand and beach bars, and the charming Cabopino marina with its waterside restaurants are just a few minutes away.

You can reach the centre of Marbella in about fifteen minutes, and Fuengirola even faster. Málaga airport is roughly half an hour's drive away, making Cabopino ideal if you travel back and forth often. International schools, supermarkets and sports clubs are just a short distance away in Elviria and Las Chapas.

Living on the golf course in Cabopino

A golf frontline villa gives you a double advantage. You look out over green space that will never be built on, so your sea views are protected. And you can play golf within walking distance of your front door. Cabopino's course is also relatively quiet, with a friendly atmosphere and sea views from several holes. The Santa Clara, Río Real and Santana courses are just a short drive away too.

If you don't play golf, you can enjoy the natural surroundings of Cabopino: walking in the Artola dunes, cycling along the coast or sailing from the marina. It's a place where you can live comfortably all year round, with the buzz of Marbella just fifteen minutes away.

Buying off-plan: how it works

With a new build, you first sign a reservation agreement, then a purchase contract with a deposit, and you pay the balance on completion at the notary. Under Spanish law, deposits on new builds must be protected by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy. Always have this checked, along with the building licence and the timeline.
