What is The Hills?
The Hills is a collection of contemporary villas high in the hills of Benahavís, in La Quinta and neighbouring El Herrojo Alto. Low building density, privacy and seamless integration into the landscape are the guiding principles, which is why every villa enjoys uninterrupted, panoramic views. The Hills 14 is a majestic villa in El Herrojo Alto, a neighbourhood with double access control and round-the-clock security. There's an open-plan living area and a generous outdoor space with several terraces and a stylish pergola with an outdoor kitchen and dining area. The villa has an impressive private pool and an indoor pool, and even its own sports club with tennis, padel, beach volleyball and a mini football pitch. Its elevated position guarantees sea views. With 1,343 m² built, 740 m² of terraces and a 2,374 m² plot, this is one of the largest new villas in Benahavís. Puerto Banús is about 6.8 kilometres away, and Puente Romano is a short drive.

On a new build you pay 10% VAT and 1.2% stamp duty (AJD) on top of the price, plus notary, land registry and legal fees. On buying costs you can work out the total for your own situation.
Because the villas are ready to move into, things move quickly: after the reservation you pay 10% when signing the purchase contract, and completion before the notary usually follows within one to two months. The schedule is tailored to your situation.
The location: La Quinta
La Quinta lies in the hills of Benahavís, just above Nueva Andalucía and Puerto Banús. The area is built around the La Quinta golf course, with villas and apartments on hillsides overlooking the valley and the coast, and on clear days as far as Gibraltar and North Africa. Life here is quiet and green, just a few minutes from Puerto Banús and the beaches.
The Los Naranjos, Las Brisas, Aloha and Los Arqueros golf courses are close by, as are international schools in Nueva Andalucía and San Pedro. Marbella town centre is about twenty minutes away, and Málaga airport about 45 minutes.
El Herrojo Alto
El Herrojo sits above La Quinta, higher up in the hills of Benahavís. It is a quiet, gated villa community with large plots and stunning views along the coast. You live in complete peace and security, yet you are only fifteen minutes from Puerto Banús or the beach.
Why Benahavís?
Benahavís is the municipality in the hills behind Marbella and Estepona, with a small white village known for its restaurants. Its territory stretches from the coast deep into the mountains and includes some of the most exclusive residential areas in Spain, such as La Zagaleta, Monte Mayor and La Quinta. Benahavís is also a true golfing municipality, with a string of renowned golf courses just a short distance from one another.
Living in Benahavís, you combine peace and quiet, nature and views with being close to the coast. Puerto Banús, San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona are a short drive away, Marbella is about twenty minutes and Málaga airport about 50 minutes. You'll find international schools in Marbella, San Pedro and Estepona.

Buying a ready-to-move-into home: how it works
With a move-in-ready villa, after reserving you have an independent lawyer check the title deeds, the first occupation licence (licencia de primera ocupación) and any charges on the property. You then sign the deed before the notary and receive the keys. We handle the legal check together with your lawyer and plan everything so you can move in without a care.
