Location
El Higuerón is a villa area on the hill between Fuengirola and Benalmádena, where many new villas and apartments have been built in recent years. Las Lomas del Higuerón sits a little higher, at around 119 metres, which explains the wide views along the coast. The area is residential and quiet. For the buzz of Fuengirola's promenade or Benalmádena marina you take the car, but you are there in no time.
Playa de Torreblanca is a 7-minute drive away; on foot it is 22 minutes, but the way back is uphill. Carrefour is 4 minutes by car. Vithas Xanit International hospital is 10 minutes away, Novaschool Benalmádena 11. You reach Fuengirola town centre in 12 minutes and Málaga airport in 24. Marbella old town is 29 minutes away.
We will send you the exact location and the address of the sales office when you request Privé access or book a viewing.

Sun, light and views
Here the sun rises at 7:00 on 21 June and sets at 21:40, giving 14.7 hours of daylight. On 21 December you still have 9.7 hours, with the midday sun at 30° above the horizon. Villas Bellagio sits at around 119 metres above sea level.
According to the description, the villa has sea views from every bedroom and a 360-degree view from the roof terrace. Another source mentions a south-facing orientation.
Homes and finishes
The villa comes with home automation, central air conditioning and underfloor heating. Another source mentions solar panels, pre-installation for electric car charging, an alarm and built-in wardrobes. The energy rating is B. In a home with two pools and a spa, the plant room matters at least as much as the finishes. Before you sign, we request the installation plans, the guarantees on pumps and filters and an estimate of the annual maintenance costs.
Payment schedule
As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Villas Bellagio through Privé.

Our honest verdict on Villas Bellagio
Strengths
- Full wellness floor with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and gym.
- Two saltwater pools, in the garden and on the roof terrace.
- 235 m² of terrace and a private terrace off every bedroom.
- Málaga airport 24 minutes and the beach 7 minutes away by car.
- Garage for two cars and a storage room with an extra bathroom for guests.
Points to consider
- At €7,895 per m², this villa is among the most expensive new builds in Fuengirola.
- The 250 m² plot is small for a 399 m² villa; little garden.
- Three floors plus the roof means lots of stairs; ask about a lift.
- Completion not until December 2027, with large stage payments during construction.
- Two pools and a spa mean high maintenance costs.
Who is Villas Bellagio right for?
Villas Bellagio suits affluent families and buyers who entertain a lot and want wellness and a pool at home, close to the airport and the schools of the Costa del Sol. If you are after a large garden, single-level living or a low-maintenance home, you are better off looking at other options. And if price per m² is your main concern, this is not the right development either.
Why buy through Imagine Marbella?

- Free extra services. We check licences, bank guarantees and specifications, provide legal support in your own language and plan viewings around your travel dates.
- Beyond the handover. We follow the construction, the handover and the after-sales with you, so you are never on your own.

By our measurement, it is a 24-minute drive to Málaga airport. The marketing text says 15 minutes, which seems optimistic to us.

Does the villa have its own spa?
Yes. The basement has a spa with jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath, a gym and a pool bathroom.
Do I pay more if I buy Villas Bellagio through Imagine Marbella?
No. You pay the same price as buying directly from the seller. Through us you also get independent advice, legal guidance and aftercare.
What costs come on top of the price of a new-build home?
