About Spinto Hills

Spinto Hills is less a classic Andalusian villa than a technically well-thought-out contemporary home. The development has 17 detached villas next to the Finca Cortesín golf course in Casares. Each villa has 270 m² built area over two floors and a roof terrace, all connected by a private lift. The villa in our data costs €2,900,000 and will be completed in April 2028.

On the ground floor is an open-plan 57.5 m² living and dining area with a minimalist kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows with concealed frames open onto a covered porch, the garden and a 24 m² saltwater pool. On the same floor you will find a guest bedroom with bathroom, a laundry room and a storage room. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The 19 m² main bedroom has its own terrace and a freestanding bath.

The 80 m² roof terrace is what you are really buying here: a chill-out area with an LED-lit jacuzzi, a barbecue corner and a walk-on skylight that brings light right into the centre of the house. In total the villa has 195 m² of terraces on a 517 m² plot, with 2 parking spaces and energy rating B.

Location

Spinto Hills is on the coastal side of Casares, in the hills next to the Finca Cortesín resort, at around 78 metres above sea level. The area is green and sparsely built, with villas, golf and views over the sea. Finca Cortesín itself has a golf course that hosted the 2023 Solheim Cup, a five-star hotel and a beach club. The historic village of Casares lies further inland; Estepona is the nearest town for everyday needs and restaurants.

According to our measurements, Playa Costa Natura beach is a 12-minute drive away, as are Mercadona and La Duquesa port. You reach Estepona hospital in 13 minutes and Estepona town centre in 19. Puerto Banús is 34 minutes away, Málaga Airport 75 and Gibraltar Airport 45. You will not get anywhere on foot here: everything is a drive.

We will send you the exact location and the address of the sales office when you request Privé access or book a viewing.

Sun, light and views

Here the sun rises at 7:03 on 21 June and sets at 21:42, giving 14.6 hours of daylight. On 21 December you still have 9.7 hours, with the midday sun at 30° above the horizon. Spinto Hills sits at around 78 metres above sea level.

The villa is listed with sea views. According to the description, the roof terrace looks out over the Mediterranean and the golf course; for each plot we check how open that view remains in relation to the other villas.

Homes and finishes

The villas are built with an industrialised construction system that promises strong thermal and acoustic insulation without thermal bridges. Heating and cooling are by aerothermal energy with underfloor heating, complemented by ventilation with 85% heat recovery. Home automation controls the lighting, bedroom shutters, climate, a smart lock and the alarm. Floors are large 120 x 120 cm non-slip porcelain tiles, worktops are Silestone or Dekton, and appliances are by Siemens. With industrialised construction, we ask for extra detail on guarantees, certificates and references from previously completed homes.

Payment schedule

As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Spinto Hills through Privé.

Our honest verdict on Spinto Hills

Strengths

  • 80 m² roof terrace with jacuzzi and barbecue, plus a private lift all the way up.
  • Strong energy concept: aerothermal energy, underfloor heating and ventilation with heat recovery.
  • 195 m² of terraces, one of the highest outdoor space ratios in Casares.
  • Every bedroom has its own bathroom, including the guest room downstairs.
  • Small-scale development of 17 villas next to the Finca Cortesín golf course.

Points to consider

  • €10,741 per m², more expensive than the completed villas within Finca Cortesín itself.
  • 517 m² plot, compact for a villa in this price bracket.
  • Completion not until April 2028, so 18 months of stage payments without keys.
  • Distances in the sales brochure are shorter than our measurements; allow 19 minutes to Estepona.
  • Industrialised construction is still little known; ask for references and guarantees.

Who is Spinto Hills right for?

Spinto Hills suits buyers who want a modern villa with low maintenance and energy needs, and who live mostly outdoors: on the roof terrace, by the pool, with sea views. Ideal for couples or families with teenagers who also enjoy golf. If you are looking for a large garden, privacy on a generous plot or a traditional style, you get more land for your money within Finca Cortesín itself or inland.

Why buy through Imagine Marbella?

With us you pay exactly the same price as buying direct from the developer. Our fee is paid by the seller, not by you. What you get on top is what makes the difference.

  • Independent. We are not tied to any development. We compare the entire market and tell you honestly when a project is not right for you.
  • Stronger at the negotiating table. Whenever there is room to negotiate, on price, payment schedule, finishes or a parking space, we know the market, the sales figures and the developers. We defend your interests; the seller defends theirs.
  • Free extra services. We check licences, bank guarantees and specifications, provide legal support in your own language and plan viewings around your travel dates.
  • Beyond the handover. We follow the construction, the handover and the after-sales with you, so you are never on your own.

Off market: what you will not find online

Not every property on the Costa del Sol ends up on a website.

Owners who want to sell discreetly, a last penthouse that has not yet been released, a villa that only comes onto the market when the right buyer appears: part of the market changes hands without a single advert.
