About Pine Valley Villas
Pine Valley Villas is not a large complex with hundreds of apartments but a small group of detached villas in the green hills between El Chaparral and Calaburra. Our data currently lists one villa for sale: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 204 m² built, of which 140 m² usable, with a 70 m² terrace and sea views. The asking price is €905,000 and completion is planned for 19 December 2027.
The design starts from the classic silhouette of a house with a pitched roof, but the ridge is shifted on each villa. As a result, every home has its own roof profile and you do not get a row of identical blocks. Natural wood features on the façade in selected places, and the staircase inside is designed as a striking element in the living space. The homes were conceived as villas with 3 and 4 bedrooms; our feed currently only includes the 3-bedroom version.
The complex is gated, with a communal pool and a storage room with the home. The villa has energy rating B. Golfers are well placed: Chaparral Golf Club, an 18-hole course among the pine trees, is in the same valley. According to our data there is no show home, so you buy off-plan on the basis of the building specification.

Location
The project lies at around 35 metres above sea level in the Calaburra - Chaparral area, the stretch of Mijas Costa between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas. It is a residential, fairly green setting of villas and smaller complexes, tucked between the coast and the wooded hills around the El Chaparral golf course. If you find the bustle of the Fuengirola promenade too much but still want to live close to the shops, this is a good fit. The lively centre of La Cala with its beach bars lies in the same direction, as does the white mountain village of Mijas Pueblo further inland.
In daily life, the main thing you notice is how easy shopping is: Mercadona is 2 minutes by car or 11 minutes on foot. Playa de Las Doradas is a 4-minute drive or a 19-minute walk. Fuengirola town centre is 12 minutes away, the old town of Marbella 25. St Anthony's College, an international school, is 13 minutes away. Málaga airport is a 34-minute drive, Vithas Xanit International hospital 21.

Sun, light and views
Here the sun rises at 7:00 on 21 June and sets at 21:40, giving 14.7 hours of daylight. On 21 December you still have 9.7 hours, with the midday sun at 30° above the horizon. Pine Valley Villas sits at around 35 metres above sea level.
According to the feed, the available villa has sea views. How much sea you see, and from which room, depends on the exact plot and its elevation; we check this on site and on the plans.
Homes and finishes
The feed describes clean, understated architecture with wooden façade accents and energy rating B. Another agent lists porcelain floor tiles, ducted climate control, double glazing in thermally broken aluminium frames, an Italian kitchen with a composite worktop and integrated appliances, and the option to personalise finishes. As that list does not come from the official feed, we always request the building specification and check that the finishes are stated word for word in the purchase contract, together with the bank guarantee on your deposits.
Payment schedule
As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Pine Valley Villas through Privé.

Our honest verdict on Pine Valley Villas
Strengths
- Detached villa with sea views for €905,000, 11% below the Mijas new-build median per m².
- Distinctive architecture: each villa has its own roof profile instead of a standard block.
- Supermarket an 11-minute walk away and the beach a 4-minute drive.
- Small gated complex with a communal pool, so quieter than the large resorts.
- El Chaparral golf course in the same valley, ideal if you play regularly.
Points to consider
- Completion not until December 2027, and there is no show home: you buy entirely off-plan.
- Only one villa in our feed, so the choice of plots and orientations is limited.
- The feed lists a 29 m² plot and no private pool; have the cadastral data checked carefully.
- The beach is a 19-minute walk; walking to the sea every day is quite a trek there and back.
- Other sources show different areas and extras, so always ask for the current price list and plans.
Who is Pine Valley Villas right for?
Pine Valley Villas suits anyone who wants a modern villa in a quiet, green corner of Mijas Costa, with the sea in view and the golf course nearby. For a couple looking for a second home and wanting to live mostly outdoors, the 70 m² terrace is a real asset. It is less suitable if you want to move in straight away, walk to the beach or expect a large garden.
