About Lantana Villas
With most villas on the Costa del Sol, you take the car to buy a loaf of bread. At Lantana Villas you walk to Mercadona in 3 minutes, and the sea is 363 metres away as the crow flies. That sets this small project in Calahonda apart from the villas you find higher up in the hills. It consists of seven modern villas, built over three floors plus a rooftop solarium. Our data lists one villa with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms for €1,700,000, with completion in June 2028.
That villa has 328 m² built on a 464 m² plot, with 215 m² of terraces and a private pool. The living areas are on the ground and first floors. Below is a large basement with daylight and ventilation that you can use as you like: as a gym, home cinema, extra bedrooms or playroom. According to the description, there are also villas with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Each villa gets a garage with 2 parking spaces and a covered storage room.
The development is gated, but it is not a resort with shared facilities: your life revolves around your own plot and your own pool. The windows run from floor to ceiling, so indoors and outdoors flow into each other. From the solarium you have an open view all around. According to the description, four of the seven villas see the sea from the roof; our data does not confirm that for this villa, so we check that point plot by plot.

Location
Calahonda is an established residential area of Mijas Costa, on the Marbella side. It is a mature neighbourhood with villas, apartments and lots of greenery, with shops, cafés, restaurants and pharmacies close at hand. You live in a finished neighbourhood here, not in a new district still full of building sites. The project sits 24 metres above sea level, just above the coast. Marbella old town is a 19-minute drive, Puerto Banús 23 and Fuengirola centre 16.
Day to day, you notice that everything is close by. The supermarket is a 232-metre walk. La Luna-Royale Beach is 2 minutes away by car; on foot it takes 22 minutes, because the walking route is quite a bit longer than the straight line. The A&E of Hospital Costa del Sol is 12 minutes away, the international school Colegio Alborán 10. Málaga airport is 35 minutes away.
We will send you the exact location and the address of the sales office when you request Privé access or book a viewing.

Sun, light and views
Here the sun rises at 7:01 on 21 June and sets at 21:40, giving 14.7 hours of daylight. On 21 December you still have 9.7 hours, with the midday sun at 30° above the horizon. Lantana Villas sits at around 24 metres above sea level.
Our data does not confirm sea views for the available villa. According to the description, four of the seven villas see the sea from the solarium; we check plot by plot what view you actually get and what the neighbours could still build later.
Homes and finishes
The villas come with underfloor heating, an aerothermal system for heating, cooling and hot water, and integrated home automation. The kitchens are fully equipped designer kitchens, and the energy rating is B. The basement gets natural light and ventilation, which matters if you want to turn it into a bedroom or workspace. With a villa with a basement, we always check how the licence describes that space, whether waterproofing is in the building specification and whether the bank guarantee covers every payment.
Payment schedule
As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Lantana Villas through Privé.

- 464 m² plot, so a compact garden around the pool.
Who is Lantana Villas right for?
Lantana Villas suits families and buyers who want their own villa with a pool, but do not want to live isolated in the hills. If you like to do your shopping on foot and want Marbella close by, this is a good fit. It is less suitable for those who want guaranteed sea views, who prefer single-level living or who are looking for a large plot with lots of garden.
