About Apron Estepona
A house of your own with a garden instead of an apartment, in a development of just 23 homes: that is what Apron Estepona offers. The semi-detached homes are in the residential area of Estepona Golf, in the hills west of the town. They are built over two floors and have three or four bedrooms. Completion is planned for March 2029.
Every home has several terraces, a landscaped garden with lawn, its own laundry room and parking for two cars.
The shared facilities include a large pool with sun loungers, surrounded by gardens. The complex is gated. Because construction is still at an early stage, you can choose certain floor and wall finishes yourself. That is an advantage if you want the home to suit your own taste, but it does require quick decisions at reservation.

Sun, light and views
Here the sun rises at 7:03 on 21 June and sets at 21:42, giving 14.6 hours of daylight. On 21 December you still have 9.7 hours, with the midday sun at 30° above the horizon. Apron Estepona sits at around 79 metres above sea level.
The surroundings look out over the golf course and the mountains. The orientation of each home isn't included in the details, so we check it on the site plan.
Homes and finishes
The homes come with a fully fitted kitchen with built-in appliances, ducted air conditioning and an aerothermal system for hot water and underfloor heating and cooling. The bathrooms are delivered with vanity units, mirrors and shower screens, and the front door is a security door. Energy rating A means low energy bills. We go through the specification sheet with you and, when you choose finishes, check that any extra costs are agreed in writing beforehand. At completion, we check the drainage of the garden and terraces.
Payment schedule
As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Apron Estepona through Privé.

Our honest verdict on Apron Estepona
Strengths
- Small scale: only 23 semi-detached homes
- Private garden and two parking spaces, rare in this price range
- Energy rating A with aerothermal energy and underfloor heating
- Some finishes can be chosen yourself in the early construction phase
Points to consider
- Completion not until March 2029, a 29-month wait
- No sea views confirmed for the homes we have on offer
- Beach and supermarket a 9-minute drive away; difficult without a car
- Limited terrace area, although the garden makes up for it
- Puerto Banús and Marbella are more than half an hour's drive away
Who is Apron Estepona right for?
Apron Estepona suits families who want a real house with a garden, and golfers looking for peace and space a short distance from the course. If you plan to live in Spain permanently later on, you will also find an energy-efficient home here with room for visitors. If you want to enjoy your home soon, expect sea views or prefer living in town, completed developments or apartments closer to the centre are a better fit.

Why buy through Imagine Marbella?
With us you pay exactly the same price as buying direct from the developer. Our fee is paid by the seller, not by you. What you get on top is what makes the difference.
- Independent. We are not tied to any development. We compare the entire market and tell you honestly when a project is not right for you.
- Stronger at the negotiating table. Whenever there is room to negotiate, on price, payment schedule, finishes or a parking space, we know the market, the sales figures and the developers. We defend your interests; the seller defends theirs.
- Free extra services. We check licences, bank guarantees and specifications, provide legal support in your own language and plan viewings around your travel dates.
- Beyond the handover. We follow the construction, the handover and the after-sales with you, so you are never on your own.
Off market: what you will not find online
Not every property on the Costa del Sol ends up on a website.
Owners who want to sell discreetly, a last penthouse that has not yet been released, a villa that only comes onto the market when the right buyer appears: part of the market changes hands without a single advert. Already know the market and looking for something you cannot find online? Tell us as precisely as possible what you are looking for. If it exists, we will find it for you.
