About Solana Village P Este

Solana Village is not a beach development and does not pretend to be. The complex sits high up on La Cala Golf Resort, in the hinterland of Mijas, with the Europa course at the foot of the hill. P Este is the eastern part of the development. Right now we have two homes in our data: a ground-floor 2-bedroom apartment for €450,000 and a 3-bedroom penthouse for €505,000.

The difference between the two lies mainly outdoors. The ground-floor apartment has 80 m² built, of which 75 m² usable, and a 23 m² terrace. The second-floor penthouse measures 101 m² built and 85 m² usable, but comes with a 112 m² terrace. So for €55,000 more you get an extra bedroom and almost five times as much outdoor space. Both homes have 2 bathrooms, air conditioning, a parking space, lift access and energy rating B.

The whole development is spread over two plots with 105 and 90 apartments. So it is a large complex, with shared pools for adults and children and communal gardens overlooking the valley. As an owner in the resort, you also get a benefits card for the clubhouse, hotel and spa, with discounts on the facilities.

Location

La Cala Golf Resort lies inland from La Cala de Mijas, at the foot of the mountains around Mijas Pueblo. Homes and finishes

The homes are delivered fully equipped: built-in wardrobes, air conditioning, a fitted kitchen with appliances, an LED lighting package and bathrooms with vanity unit, mirror and shower screen. Large glazed walls connect the living room with the terrace, which is finished with glass balustrades. An optional package lets you personalise the home. Before signing, we check which items are standard and which are in the options package, and whether the bank guarantee is in place for every payment.

Payment schedule

As with most new builds on the Costa del Sol, you pay in instalments: a reservation deposit, a portion on signing the purchase contract and during construction, and the balance at the deed signing. Every payment before completion must be covered by a bank guarantee. We will send you the exact payment schedule for Solana Village P Este through Privé.

Our honest verdict on Solana Village P Este

Strengths

  • 3-bedroom penthouse with a 112 m² terrace for €505,000.
  • More outdoor space than 93% of the developments in our comparison.
  • Living on a golf resort with hotel, spa, restaurants and sports pitches close at hand.
  • Completion scheduled for this year, 2026, so no years of waiting.
  • Price per m² just 7% above the median for new builds in Mijas.

Points to consider

  • The beach is a 19-minute drive away; without a car you are not mobile here.
  • Large complex of 195 apartments, so not very intimate and possibly busier in summer.
  • The scheduled completion dates have passed or fall today; ask for the current construction status.
  • The ground-floor apartment has only a 23 m² terrace.
  • Sea views are not confirmed for these homes, despite what some descriptions suggest.

Who is Solana Village P Este right for?

This development suits golfers and anyone looking for a quiet second home with hotel facilities within walking distance. The penthouse appeals to those who live outdoors a lot and value a large terrace over a large living room. Solana Village is less suitable for those who want to walk to the beach every morning, want to live without a car or prefer a small, intimate complex.

Why buy through Imagine Marbella?

With us you pay exactly the same price as buying direct from the developer. Our fee is paid by the seller, not by you. What you get on top is what makes the difference.

  • Independent. We are not tied to any development. We compare the entire market and tell you honestly when a project is not right for you.
  • Stronger at the negotiating table. Whenever there is room to negotiate, on price, payment schedule, finishes or a parking space, we know the market, the sales figures and the developers. We defend your interests; the seller defends theirs.
  • Free extra services. We check licences, bank guarantees and specifications, provide legal support in your own language and plan viewings around your travel dates.
  • Beyond the handover. We follow the construction, the handover and the after-sales with you, so you are never on your own.
